Port of Albany-Rensselaer Team
Richard J. Hendrick, Chief Executive Officer
Rich was selected by the Board of Commissioners to serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the Port of Albany-Rensselaer in June 2008. Since that time the Port has experienced historical increases in vessel calls, tonnage and longshore labor hours worked at the Port. Rich has also overseen the largest capital investment and infrastructure upgrades since the Port was established in 1932, nearing $100 million. Rich was elected as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) United States in 2024, serves on the Board of Commissioners of Pilots of the State of New York– North Atlantic Ports and on the Board of Directors (Past President) of the North Atlantic Ports Association.
Rich is also on the Board of the Historic Cherry Hill in South Albany and serves on the Board of Directors of the W.F. Bruen Hose Company [Clinton Heights Fire Department] in East Greenbush, NY. Prior to serving as CEO, Rich was the Director of Security and Threat Assessment for the Port of Albany. Rich retired from City of Albany Police Department as a Detective after serving for 17 years.

Megan oversees the Port’s economic and business development, strategic opportunities, grants, communications, marketing, and sales. Prior to joining the Port, Megan served as lead staff for the Governor’s Statewide Regional Economic Development Council Program, and before that as the Deputy Commissioner for Economic Development at the City of Albany. She currently sits on the NYS Economic Development Council for the Capital Region. Megan holds a MRP in Urban and Regional Planning from the University at Albany and studied for a year at the University of Maryland’s master’s program where she participated in an industrial study at the Port of Baltimore.
Patrick K. Jordan

Patrick is the Port’s chief legal officer and serves as legal advisor to the APDC Commissioners, CEO, and staff in the execution of the Port’s mission and duties. Before joining the Port, he served as Deputy Corporation Counsel for the City of Albany and served as counsel to the City’s Common Council, Planning Board, and the Citizens’ Police Review Board. Patrick serves as Chair of AAPA’s Law Review Committee and as Vice President of the Board of the USS Slater Destroyer Escort Historical Museum. Patrick earned a JD from Albany Law School and BA in English from Siena College.
Christine Stuto

Christine is responsible for the Port’s accounting and financial management programs and processes. Previously, Christine was the Director of Finance at Berkshire Farm Center and Service for Youth, a child welfare agency serving youth and families throughout the state of New York, where she was responsible for its $45 million budget. She has an extensive financial management background, with the majority of her career spent working at not-for-profit and government-related agencies. Christine serves as Treasurer for the Board of the Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York. Christine holds a BS in Accounting from Bentley College in Waltham, MA.
